Create a Campaign Slogan for Britain First!

A political slogan conveys a simple, yet powerful, idea in just a few words. A good slogan, regularly repeated, can galvanise an election campaign. Think of 'Build a wall!' (Donald Trump, 2016) or 'Labour isn't working' (Conservative Party, 1978).

On May 2nd 2019 Britain First will - for the first time - field candidates in the UK local elections, and we're looking for slogans to use on the doorstep and in campaign literature, slogans that say immediately to voters: 'This is what we stand for - vote Britain First!'.

Donald Trump, Maggie Thatcher, John F. Kennedy and Dr Goebbels are among politicians who've used slogans to great effect, for good or ill. Below are some notable examples from history - perhaps you can remember who said them.

We challenge readers to come up with compelling campaign slogans for Britain First. Email your suggestions to: [email protected]

A fair day's wage for a fair day's work.

Believe in Britain!

Better dead than red.

Britain isn't working.

Build a [the] wall!

Deeds not words.

Drain the swamp!

England expects that every man will do his duty.

It's time.

Labour isn't working.

Liberty, equality, fraternity.

Maggie, Maggie, Maggie - out, out, out!

Make America great again!

Never had it so good.

No surrender!

One people, one empire, one leader.

Onward Christian soldiers!

People before profit.

Power to the people.

Scotland forever.

Stop the boats!

There is no alternative.

Things can only get better.

Vote for change!

We want our country back.

Workers of the world, unite!

Yes we can.
